Mr. John Allis John is currently a 3rd degree Blackbelt in Sanshin Kai Karate and also recently retired from the EPA. John is one of more popular staff members teaching on Saturday mornings and tuesday & thursday afternoons. John has been with Karate International of Raleigh for approx. 17 years. Some additions - I began karate Sept 1981. According to my certificate, I made black belt in June 1990. However, I have the distinct memory of being a month past my 50th birthday - I made a point of it after the test - and that would have been June 1989. Gale and I tested the same day. I remember that I didn't get my certificate for some time afterwards, so it may be wrong. Can you check that?
